A winter storm gripped Raleigh, North Carolina in mid-January of 2018, dumping 5-8 inches across the area. Such perfect snow fell throughout the afternoon leaving the softest of blankets covering the entire city. I grabbed my trusty Pentax 6x7 with the Pentax 105mm SMC f/2.4 and headed downtown for some long exposure shots on Ektar 100. Such a fantastic film for long exposures with excellent colors. Even the snow and biting cold temperatures that hovered around 10°F wouldn't keep people off the streets. I photographed my favorite spots of our quaint downtown in a rare event for the city.
